Understanding TDS, COA and packaging information

Each document supports a different part of ingredient evaluation. Buyers should request the document appropriate to their current stage.

Technical datasheet

A TDS defines the controlled product specification, test references, storage guidance, packaging information and other product-level parameters. It is the starting point for technical evaluation.

Certificate of analysis

A COA records results associated with a specific batch or lot. It should be reviewed against the agreed product specification and commercial documentation.

Packaging specification

Packaging information helps the buyer evaluate handling, storage, production use and logistics. The supplied RN-LIPIDS liquid specifications reference HDPE drums, MS drums and IBC formats.

Certification and compliance documents

Certification documents should be checked for the correct legal entity, facility, scope, standard and validity period. A logo alone is not sufficient evidence.
